Japanese is a very difficult language to learn, but now that I have been through years of academic training, worked in Japan and survived living there on my own, I can say with confidence that I have discovered rhyme and reason to the complexity of the language that might turn potential learners away. I hope to use my experiences to help others who share my passion for the language learn effectively and enjoyably!

I teach Japanese from the Starting level to Advanced Intermediate level with a curriculum centered around your interests. I usually teach at coffee shops but I am available to teach out of your home if you would like. I can also provide all of the materials necessary for a comprehensive learning experience. (Of course, I can work with your existing materials and/or recommend materials for you to buy if you would prefer!)
